Memory could not be allocated at the transmission source agent (agent-host-name) because the size of the result files (standard-output-file-name, standard-error-file-name) for the job (job-number, manager-host-name) was too large.

Memory could not be allocated at the transmission source agent because the job's result files (standard output file and standard error output file) are too large.

For details about how to avoid memory shortages due to large result files, see 7.10.1 Notes on the standard output file and standard error output file in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

Although the job is placed in the Ended abnormally status with the return code -1, the job process itself may have terminated normally. Check the end status of the job process on the agent host.

Cautionary notes
  • File names are not output in the message unless the standard output file and standard error output file are specified in the job definition. However, when the standard error output file is undefined, if the job in question is executed within a jobnet, a temporary file will be created and sent to the manager host. In this case, A_JPQSTDE_*_job-number is set in standard-error-file-name. Take appropriate action, referring to 7.10.1 Notes on the standard output file and standard error output file in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

  • If 1 is set for the IgnoreResultFileError environment setting parameter, the return code of the job process is set for the return code of the job, and the job is placed into the Ended normally, Ended with warning, or Ended abnormally status depending on the final judgment. In addition, the result file is not re-sent, because termination of the job is preferred. Accordingly, you cannot use the Execution Result Details dialog box of JP1/AJS3 - View to view the contents of the standard error output file.

Because the result file for the job is not re-sent, the values set for the NotfyJobStateInterval and NotfyJobStateCount environment setting parameters will not be enabled. (These parameters specify the interval for resending the result file for the job and the number of times it is re-sent.)

For details about the IgnoreResultFileError environment setting parameter, see 20.5 Setting up the job execution environment in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.
