Check the impact on operation. Use the performance report function to check the item EVJOB_UNREPORTED_EVENT_NUM and transition of the value. If the value exceeds the maximum number, the increase in the throughput of the event/action control manager might degrade job execution performance.

If the value is increasing, take the following actions before the value reaches the maximum number so that the value is less than the warning number:

  • Stop monitoring by forcibly terminating the event job, and then prevent the event job conditions from being satisfied.

  • Prevent the occurrence of events that satisfy the monitoring conditions (for example, a JP1 event is issued, a file is placed, or an email is received) to prevent the event job conditions from being satisfied.

  • Reduce the number of standard jobs that are executed at the same time.

  • If a large number of operations to register event jobs for execution or to forcibly terminate event jobs are performed at the same time, shift the time when such operations are performed.
