Take action according to the cause number output in the message.

The appropriate action for each cause number is as follows:

Cause number: 1

The unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message cannot be waited for. Determine the cause from the error message output before this one, and remove the cause of the error. Then, perform the following procedure:

1. Check the execution start date of the unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message.

2. In the Search window of JP1/AJS3 - View, for the unit with wait conditions that waits for the unit indicated in the message, search for the execution schedule that occurs on the start date you checked in step 1.

3. Select the applicable unit with wait conditions from the search results displayed in step 2, and open the Wait Conditions Statuses window. Make sure that the unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message is in a status that allows waiting to finish.

4. If step 3 confirms that the unit whose end is being waited for is in a status that allows waiting to finish, perform a temporary change operation of the wait condition to disable waiting for the unit to be waited for indicated in the message.

If the unit with wait conditions is scheduled to execute multiple times per day or a 48 hour schedule is in effect, the unit might appear more than once in the search results in step 2. In this case, check the wait status of each unit, and perform a temporary change of the wait condition only with respect to the generation of the unit that is waiting for the unit identified by execution ID in the message.

Cause number: 2

A unit with wait conditions that meets any of the following criteria is unable to wait for a unit whose end is being waited for:

• The unit indicated in the message is a unit with wait conditions

• The unit with wait conditions is defined under the unit indicated in the message

• The unit with wait conditions specifies the unit indicated in the message as a unit whose end is being waited for

• The unit with wait conditions specifies a unit defined under the unit indicated in the message as a unit whose end is being waited for

Determine the cause from the error message output before this one, and remove the cause of the error. Then, perform the following procedure:

1. In the Search window of JP1/AJS3 - View, search for a unit with wait conditions that meets the above criteria.

2. Select the applicable unit with wait conditions from the search results displayed in step 1, and open the Wait Conditions Statuses window. Make sure that the unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message is in a status that allows waiting to finish.

3. If step 2 confirms that the unit whose end is being waited for is in a status that allows waiting to finish, perform a temporary change operation of the wait condition to disable waiting for the unit to be waited for indicated in the message.
