JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Messages

KAVS4954-E

The unit (name: unit-full-name:execution-ID), whose end was to be waited for by a unit with wait conditions (name: unit-full-name:execution-ID), is not a unit whose end can be waited for.

Waiting cannot take place because the unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message is invalid.

(S)

Cancels the wait process by the unit with wait conditions indicated in the message with respect to the unit whose end is being waited for.

(O)

The unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message cannot be waited for.

The probable causes are as follows:

  • A unit whose end cannot be waited for is specified as a unit whose end is being waited for.

  • The unit specified as a unit whose end is being waited for does not exist.

  • Both an unlimited execution count and an unlimited period are set as the valid range of start conditions for a jobnet that has start conditions and whose end is being waited for.

In the wait conditions of the unit indicated in the message, specify a unit whose end can be waited for and then re-execute the unit.

To extend the units that are specifiable as units whose end is being waited for, use the PREWAITEXTEND environment setting parameter. For details about this environment setting parameter, see 20.4.2(96) PREWAITEXTEND in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.

A unit with wait conditions must be suspended before you can amend its wait condition. If you cannot suspend the unit, perform a temporary change that sets the waiting status to Wait complete (manual) with respect to the unit whose end is being waited for indicated in the message, and then re-execute the unit.

If the system cannot determine the execution ID of the unit whose end is being waited for, asterisks (***) appear as the execution ID in the message.
