Take action according to the instructions given by the messages beginning with KAVS corresponding to the information indicated in maintenance-information-1 and maintenance-information-2, and then pre-check the definitions again.

  • If maintenance-information-1 is 1989 during execution of the ajschkstop command (UNIX only), the probable causes are as follows:

    - The check agent service is not running.

    - An IPv6 environment was migrated from an IPv4 environment or an IPv4 environment was migrated from an IPv6 environment while the check agent service was running.

    - The ANY bind address was specified incorrectly.

If the check agent service is not running, no action is required. In other cases, you might be unable to stop the check agent service. Therefore, use the kill command to stop the check agent service. The next time you start the check agent service, make sure that the ANY bind address is specified correctly. For details about how to specify and check the ANY bind address, see the JP1/Base User's Guide.

  • If maintenance-information-1 is 0106 during execution of the ajschkdef command, the probable causes are as follows:

    - While a definition pre-check was underway, the target units (including the units under the particular directory path) were added or deleted, or the content of the definitions was changed.

If the JP1/AJS3 Check Manager service has stopped, start the JP1/AJS3 Check Manager service, and then perform a definition pre-check again as needed.
