After the command terminates, check the setting name indicated in the message, and specify either of the following for the new scheduler service:

  • If Local date and time is indicated in setting-name, use the ajslocaldate command to specify the AJS local date and time.

  • If Suspend feature is indicated in setting-name, use the ajssetup command to set up the suspend function.

  • If Disaster recovery is indicated in setting-name, the feature that automatically starts the scheduler service in disaster recovery mode when the JP1/AJS3 service starts will not work. Take the following actions:

    - Configure the target scheduler service not to start automatically when the JP1/AJS3 service starts. For details, see the description of the AUTOSTART environment setting parameter in 20.4 Setting up the scheduler service environment in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.

    - Start the JP1/AJS3 service.

    - Start the target scheduler service in disaster recovery mode. For details about how to start individual scheduler services in disaster recovery mode, see ajsstart in 3. Commands Used for Normal Operations in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Command Reference and jajs_spmd in 3. Commands Used for Normal Operations in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Command Reference.

    - Re-configure the target scheduler service to start automatically.
