12.3 Sending and receiving data using JP1/ DH - AJE

To send and receive data using JP1/DH - AJE, register a custom job for JP1/DH - AJE and define it in a jobnet.

To register and define a custom job for JP1/DH - AJE:

1. In JP1/AJS3 - View, display the Jobnet Editor window for the jobnet you want to edit.

2. Select Exclusive edit.

3. Drag the icon of the custom job for JP1/DH - AJE from the icon list to the map area.

   The Define Details - [Custom Job] dialog box appears.

4. Define the unit name and other attributes.

5. Click the Details button.

   A dialog box appears in which you can define how data is to be sent and received. For details on the information you can set in this dialog box, see the manual JP1/Data Highway - Automatic Job Executor.

6. Click the OK button.

   The dialog box closes.

7. In the Define Details - [Custom Job] dialog box, click OK button.

   The Define Details - [Custom Job] dialog box closes.
