2.4.4 Starting and ending the mail system linkage function
This subsection describes how to start and end the mail system linkage function. Starting and ending procedures are described separately according to whether the operation uses an email sending job or an email reception monitoring job.

(1) Starting and ending the mail system linkage function if an email sending job is used
After starting the JP1/AJS3 service, you can use an email sending job regardless of the environment setting parameter settings for the mail system linkage function.
After stopping the JP1/AJS3 service, you will no longer be able to use the email sending job.
(2) Starting and ending the mail system linkage function if an email reception monitoring job is used
After starting the JP1/AJS3 service, you can use an email reception monitoring job if U is set in the ExecMode environment setting parameter for the mail system linkage function.
To switch the operating status of the email reception monitoring job from enabled to disabled, set N in the ExecMode environment setting parameter for the mail system linkage function, and then restart the JP1/AJS3 service.
After stopping the JP1/AJS3 service, you will no longer be able to use the email sending job.
