Waiting-target unit

A question mark (?) is displayed as the icon if you do not have reference permission for the unit whose end is being waited for or its upper-level unit. No icon appears if the unit definition is invalid.

  • The unit whose end is being waited for is defined under a planning group

  • You do not have reference permission for the unit whose end is being waited for or its upper-level unit

Release ID(waiting-target)

  • You do not have reference permission for the unit whose end is being waited for or its upper-level unit

Waiting definition

The information displayed in this column differs when the version of the connection-destination JP1/AJS3 - Manager is 10-00 or later, and when the version is 09-50 or later but earlier than 10-00. The information displayed for each version is described below.

When the connection-destination JP1/AJS3 - Manager is 10-00 or later:

This column displays detailed information indicating whether any aspect of the waiting definition is invalid. The table below shows the information displayed in this column and what it means. Review the wait conditions based on this information. If these checks do not apply to the definition, a blank is displayed.

If you use the release function, this column displays the result of checking jobnet definitions whose release status is Being applied. Note that the system does not check for execution loops that might result from the wait conditions.

Meaning

Not exist

The unit whose end is being waited for does not exist.

Review the wait conditions, and either specify an existing unit as the unit whose end is being waited for, or delete the waiting specification for the missing unit, as the situation warrants.

No permission

The wait conditions could not be checked because the JP1 user who opened the Wait Conditions Settings List window does not have reference permission (JP1_AJS_Guest or higher) for the unit whose end is being waited for or its upper-level unit.

If the unit is one whose end can be waited for, the unit with wait conditions will start executing when the wait condition is satisfied. If the unit is not one whose end can be waited for, an error will occur when the unit with wait conditions executes.

We recommend that you review the wait conditions from a user account with the appropriate permissions.

For details about the units that can be specified as units whose ends are to be waited for, see 2.2.5 Using wait conditions to control the order of unit execution in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

Under the planning group

The wait conditions could not be checked because the unit whose end is to be waited for is created under a planning group.

For details about the cautionary notes that apply when specifying a unit under a planning group as a unit whose end is to be waited for, see 2.2.5 Using wait conditions to control the order of unit execution in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

Unit type is invalid

The unit whose end is to be waited for is the wrong type.

For details about the units you can specify as a unit whose end is being waited for, see 2.2.5 Using wait conditions to control the order of unit execution in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

Same unit

The same unit is specified as the unit with wait conditions and the unit whose end is being waited for.

As the unit whose end is being waited for, specify a different unit from the unit with wait conditions.

Upper unit

An upper-level unit of the unit with wait conditions is specified as the unit whose end is being waited for.

As the unit whose end is being waited for, specify a unit that is not an upper-level unit of the unit with wait conditions.

Lower unit

A lower-level unit of the unit with wait conditions is specified as the unit whose end is being waited for.

As the unit whose end is being waited for, specify a unit that is not a lower-level unit of the unit with wait conditions.

Start condition

A start condition is set for the root jobnet of the unit whose end is being waited for or the unit with start conditions.

If you use a start condition, an error might occur when the unit is executed. For details, see 2.2.5 Using wait conditions to control the order of unit execution in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

When the connection-destination JP1/AJS3 - Manager is at least 09-50 but earlier than 10-00:

This column shows whether the definition of the wait condition is invalid.

If Invalid definition appears, review the definition of the wait condition. An error will occur when the unit is executed.

In the following circumstances, a hyphen (-) appears in this column. An error might occur when the unit is executed, so review the definition of the wait condition.

  • The unit whose end is being waited for is defined under a planning group

  • You do not have reference permission for the unit whose end is being waited for or its upper-level unit

If these checks do not apply to the definition, Normal is displayed.

If you use the release function, this column indicates whether the definition is invalid for jobnet definitions whose release status is Being applied. Note that the system does not check for execution loops that might result from the wait conditions.

For details about the units you can specify as a unit whose end is being waited for, see 2.2.5 Using wait conditions to control the order of unit execution in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.
