12.8.1 Configuration of the window

The following figure shows the Monthly Schedule window.

Figure 12‒209: Monthly Schedule window

[Figure]

The following explains the displayed items.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Tree area

Displays the jobnets or jobs under the root jobnet in a tree structure. The units under the remote jobnet, and the manager jobnet are not displayed.

For a release target jobnet, the jobnet is displayed in root-jobnet-name(release-ID) format for each definition for which release entry is performed. Note that the release ID is not displayed if the release ID is AJS_AUTO.

The unit names are displayed in the order specified by the Schedule page in the Preferences dialog box. In the Schedule page of the Preferences dialog box, you can also specify whether to view a root jobnet that has no schedule information. For details, see 12.3.42 Preferences dialog box.

(2) Time area

The upper row displays dates, and the lower row displays the days of the week. The default is the current date. The gray background indicates the past, while the white background in the time area indicates the present or future. The red characters indicate closed days, while the blue characters indicate open days.

The closed days and open days are displayed according to the calendar information defined for the job group that was selected when starting the Monthly Schedule window.

If you select a jobnet when starting the Monthly Schedule window, the days are displayed according to the calendar information defined for the upper-level job group.

This means that when you select the jobnet, the display of the closed days and open days differs from that for the job group you want to reference even if you set Refer to a calendar of another job group in the Schedule Settings dialog box for the jobnet.

(3) Display month change buttons

Use these buttons to change the month of the currently displayed schedule information. The following buttons are available:

Cautionary note

The buttons are disabled and cannot be operated when the version of the connection target JP1/AJS2 - Manager is 08-50 or earlier, or the scheduler database for the connection target JP1/AJS3 - Manager is ISAM.

(4) Cancel button

Click this button to cancel the display update processing. Normally, this button is disabled. This button is enabled only while a schedule is being obtained.

Cautionary note

The button is disabled and cannot be operated when the version of the connection target JP1/AJS2 - Manager is 08-50 or earlier, or the scheduler database for the connection target JP1/AJS3 - Manager is ISAM.

(5) Schedule area

Displays the selection frame, and the square (for planned or immediate registration), circle (for fixed registration), or triangle (for unregistered) indicating an execution schedule. The square or circle is displayed at a scheduled date. The triangle is displayed at information of schedule definition. If you set the base time and the start time after 24 hours, up to two days are shifted from the start time.

The start time is displayed differently depending on whether the schedule definition for root jobnets is based on 24 or 48 hours.

For details, see 3.3.2 Defining a schedule in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Overview.

The start time is different depending on whether you simulate a schedule. If you specify that a schedule not be simulated, the displayed start time differs from the start time of a daily schedule always simulated. You can set simulation in the Preferences dialog box. For details, see 12.3.42 Preferences dialog box.

The square indicates an execution schedule registered for planned execution or immediate execution. The circle indicates an execution schedule registered for fixed execution. The triangle indicates an unregistered execution schedule.

If delay occurs, the square or circle is displayed thick.

The gray background in the schedule area indicates the past, and the white background indicates the present and future.

The color of each cell indicates the status of job or jobnet execution. For details about the square colors and the status of job or jobnet execution, see Table 12-50. You can use the Preferences dialog box to change the square colors.

(6) Selection frame

Select an execution schedule per day.

(7) Execution result list

Lists only the execution schedules set in the tree area and selection frame and having target IDs (that can be displayed in the Jobnet Monitor window).

When you click an execution schedule in the list, the contents of the tree area and schedule area will be refreshed to reflect the selected schedule information.

You can change the items displayed in the list area and the display order. For details on how to set the displayed items, see 12.3.46 Display Item Setup dialog box.

You can also display the execution schedule of unregistered units in the list area. Only unregistered units, even when they lack execution IDs, are displayed. For details about how to display unregistered units in the execution result list, see 11.9.8 Displaying the execution schedule of unregistered units in the execution result list.

The horizontal sizes of the displayed items are saved when you close the window or you change displayed items.
