Arbitrary extended attribute

If a user-defined extended attribute is specified for a JP1 event subject to reception monitoring, specify an arbitrary extended attribute for the user. The default is a blank.

For an arbitrary extended attribute for the user, defined data is stored in the format of evwfr=extended-attribute-name:"value";.

You can set multiple extended attributes within 2,048 bytes in the evwfr=extended-attribute-name:"value"; format.

In the Detailed Definition - [Receive JP1 Event] - [Extended attribute] dialog box, specify only extended-attribute-name and "value";. Specify extended-attribute-name.

Use a character string of up to 32 bytes consisting of uppercase alphabetic characters (A to Z), numeric characters (0 to 9), and underscores (_). The character string must begin with an uppercase alphabetic character.

Specify "value" using any character string. The total number of bytes including the remaining part of the complete format must not exceed 2,048. You can use a regular expression. For details about regular expressions for Windows, see the JP1/Base User's Guide. For details about regular expressions for UNIX, see your UNIX documentation. If the version of the connection-target JP1/AJS3 - Manager is 09-50 or later, you can specify a macro variable instead.
