12.3.45 Create Color / Change Color dialog box

The Create Color dialog box allows you to create additional colors other than those provided with JP1/AJS3 - View. If you are editing a color you created, Change Color dialog box appears.

The following figure shows the Create Color dialog box.

Figure 12‒79: Create Color dialog box

[Figure]

The following explains the displayed items.

Name

Specify the name of the color using a character string of up to 20 bytes. Japanese characters can be used. The default is blank if you are creating a new color or the name of the pre-edited color if you are editing an existing color.

You cannot specify the following characters.

  • , (comma)

  • : (colon)

  • ; (semicolon)

  • =

  • /

Supplementary note

If you use a single-byte space in Name, it will be treated as follows.

  • If you specify a single-byte space between character strings, the space is recognized as a blank character. In the following examples, [Figure] is assumed to be a single-byte space.

For example, "LEMON[Figure]YELLOW" will be treated as "LEMON[Figure]YELLOW".

  • Any leading or trading single-byte spaces will be ignored.

For example, "[Figure]BLUE[Figure]" will be treated as "BLUE".

  • If you specify single-byte spaces only, they are treated as 0 bytes, resulting in an error.

For example, "[Figure] [Figure] [Figure] [Figure]" will be treated as "".

RGB-element

Set RGB elements.

Basic color

Select this when you use basic colors provided with JP1/AJS3 - View as a basis to create a new color. The default is None.

R (Red), G (Green), B (Blue)

For R, G, and B, you can specify a value in the range from 0 to 255.

The default is 255 for all three elements if you are creating a new color or the respective values of pre-edited RGB elements if you are editing an existing color.

Sample

Shows the sample color according to the values specified in R, G, and B.

The default is white if you are creating a new color or the pre-edited color image if you are editing an existing color.
