[Figure]

The following explains the displayed items.

Restore unit

Specify whether to restore unit definitions in units of backup files or of backup boxes. You can specify Backup file and Backup box.

In the former case, select Backup file.

To restore the entire backup box, select Backup box.

The default is Backup file.

Restore to

Set a location to restore a backup file. You can set In the selected unit and Original path.

To restore a backup file into a selected unit, select In the selected unit.

To restore a backup file into the same unit as the original, select Original path. Only with a root job group selected in the tree area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window), you can set Original path.

The default is In the selected unit.

Restored unit uses same name as backup

To restore a unit, set the restore method when a unit of the same name exists in the restore destination. You can specify No or Yes. If you choose Yes, the system deletes the existing unit and then restores the backup file. The default is No.

Backup box

Displays the name of the backup box created in the directory for backup information.

Backup file

Displays the names of the backup files stored in the backup box, unit types, and full path names. Clicking a backup box name in the Backup box displays the backup file names.

Units to restore

Displays the name of the backup file to be restored.

Add button

Adds the backup file selected in Backup file to Units to restore. With a backup file name selected in Backup file, you can click the Add button.

Delete button

Deletes the backup file selected in Units to restore from Units to restore. With a backup file name selected in Units to restore, you can click the Delete button.

Cautionary notes
  • If the hierarchical structure of a unit to be restored differs from the hierarchical structure of the unit backed up, you cannot specify Original path in Restore to.

  • If a root jobnet for which release entry was performed (a release-target jobnet) exists that has the same name as the unit to be restored, the status of the root jobnet changes so that release entry was not performed for the root jobnet, because the root jobnet is re-created.

  • The following units cannot be restored in a root jobnet for which release entry was performed (a release-target jobnet).

    - Remote jobnet

    - .CONDITION (start condition)

    - Jobnet connector

  • You cannot restore the unit in the following cases.

    - You are not assigned the reference privilege for both of the backup box and the backup file.

    - You are not authorized to reference the unit to be restored.

    - There is no unit to be restored.

    - You cannot make definitions, for example, restoring a job group under a jobnet.

    - The maximum number of nests in the hierarchical structure exceeds 30.

    - An attempt is made to restore the root jobnet being registered for execution.

    - The root jobnet being registered for execution attempts to restore a lower-level job group.

    - An attempt is made to restore the root jobnet being suspended.

    - The root jobnet being suspended attempts to restore a lower-level job group.

    - An attempt is made to restore an active unit below the root jobnet being suspended

    - The unit definition saved in the backup file is incorrect.

    - If you are restoring a host link jobnet at the level directly below a job group or at a level lower than a remote jobnet.

    - If you are restoring a unit at a level lower than a host link jobnet.

    - The number of generations of the unit to be restored exceeds the maximum number of logs to keep, which is set for the restoration-destination scheduler service.
