11.9.1 Performing a monthly execution simulation

Monthly execution simulation is the process of determining an execution schedule of jobnets registered for planned execution. You can display the execution schedule in the Monthly Schedule window.

Procedure

To execute monthly execution simulation:

1. In the JP1/AJS3 - View window, choose Options and Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog box appears.

2. In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Schedule page.

   The Schedule page of the Preferences dialog box appears.

3. Set the following item for Monthly execution simulation:

   • Simulation

     Monthly execution simulation is a function for determining an execution schedule of jobnets registered for planned execution from statistics and for displaying the execution schedule in the Monthly Schedule window. You can specify whether to use this function.

4. Click the OK button.

   The Preferences dialog box closes. The setting takes effect when the information is updated.

Supplementary note

When you select Perform in Monthly execution simulation, schedules are calculated and display performance degrades. This option should not be specified unless it is required.
