11.7.20 Displaying the units directly under a root jobnet when the Jobnet Monitor window is opened from JP1/IM - View

When linking with JP1/IM - View, you can open the Jobnet Monitor window by selecting a job in the Event Console window of JP1/IM - View and clicking the Start Monitor button. In this situation, you can have the Jobnet Monitor window display the units directly under the root jobnet of the selected job in the map area.

Specify from:

A JP1/AJS3 - View file (User-specified option file)

Specification

Use the following format:

jajsExecJobnetMonitorAllJobName={Yes|No} (return)

Specify No to display the units directly below the root jobnet of the selected job in the map area. To display the selected job directly in the map area, specify Yes.

The default is Yes. If you omit this setting, Yes is assumed.

If you specify Yes but the units directly below the root jobnet still appear in the map area, you need to change the jobnet monitor start interface definition file in JP1/IM.

To change the file:

1. Terminate JP1/IM - View started.

2. On the JP1/IM - Manager host, change the extension of the definition file for opening monitor windows, and then back up the file.

   Change the extensions of the following files:

   In Windows:

   JP1/IM - Manager-installation-folder\conf\console\monitor\hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

   or

   shared-folder\jp1cons\conf\console\monitor\hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

   In UNIX:

   /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/monitor/hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

   or

   shared-directory/jp1cons/conf/console/monitor/hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

   For example, you can change the extensions as follows:

   Before the change: hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

   After the change: hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf.bak

3. Copy the definition file for opening monitor windows from the JP1/AJS3 - View host to the JP1/IM - Manager host.

   Copy the following files:

   JP1/AJS3 - View-installation-folder\conf\hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf.0700

4. Change the name of the file copied in procedure step 3 as follows:

   Before the change: hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf.0700

   After the change: hitachi_jp1_ajs2_mon.conf

5. Restart the JP1/IM - Manager service.

Cautionary note

If you performed an upgrade installation or an overwrite installation for JP1/IM - Manager after you stored the jobnet monitor start interface definition file in the JP1/IM - Manager installation folder, store the file in the folder again.

Example

To display the units directly below the root jobnet of the selected job in the map area:
