11.7.2 Setting the monitoring mode in effect when the Jobnet Monitor window is started

You can specify whether to display only the jobnets of the generation displayed in the list area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) or to display the most recent status and result of jobnets regardless of the contents of the list area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) when the Jobnet Monitor window is called from the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window). Note that the system assumes Monitor the previous status on the Main page of the Preferences dialog box, regardless of the setting you specify here, when you open the Jobnet Monitor window from the detailed information area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) or from the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Summary Monitor window).

Procedure

To set the monitoring mode:

1. In the Jobnet Monitor window, choose Options and Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog box appears.

2. In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Main page.

   The Main page of the Preferences dialog box appears.

3. For Monitoring mode when Jobnet Monitor starts of Setting when window starts, select Monitor the previous status or Monitor the latest status and result.

   • Monitor the previous status

     Only the generations down in the list area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) are displayed. The status when the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) was on the screen is displayed in the Jobnet Monitor window even if the jobnet status changed after the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) appeared.

   • Monitor the latest status and result

     The most recent status or result appears regardless of the contents of the list area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window).

4. Click the OK button.

   The Preferences dialog box closes. The setting takes effect the next time you start the Jobnet Monitor window.
