11.5.12 Hiding the icons of unused units in the icon list

You can hide the icons of unused units in the icon list in the Jobnet Editor window.

Specify from:

Set Default Values dialog box

Procedure

To hide the icons of unused units in the icon list:

  1. In the JP1/AJS3 - View window, choose Options and then Set Default Values.

    The Set Default Values dialog box appears.

  2. In the Set Default Values dialog box, in the tree area, select the unit type you want to hide.

    The setting item area displays the settings of the unit type you selected in the tree area.

  3. In the setting item area, select the The unit is not used check box.

  4. Click the OK button.

    The Set Default Values dialog box closes. The setting takes effect the next time you open the Jobnet Editor window.

  • You can hide the icons of the following units:

    - Unix Job

    - PC Job

    - Queue Job

    - Jobnet

    - Jobnet Connector

    - OR Job

    - Judgment Job

    - Flexible Job

    - HTTP Connection Job

    - Receive JP1 Event job

    - Monitoring Files job

    - Receive Mail job

    - Monitoring Log Files job

    - Monitoring Event Log job

    - Interval Control job

    - Send JP1 Event job

    - Send Mail job

    - OpenView Status Report job

    - Local Power Control job

    - Remote Power Control job

    - Passing information setting job

  • If you do not use any of the event jobs or any of the action jobs, in the tree area, select Events or Actions, and then select the The unit is not used check box in the setting item area.

  • Tabs for which The unit is not used is selected for all units are not displayed in the Jobnet Editor window.

  • If you select the The unit is not used check box, the setting item area for the subordinate units is disabled. However, any settings that have already been specified are stored.
