JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide

10.2.1 Specifying search conditions

To find a jobnet or job:

  1. Open one of the following windows:

    • JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window)

    • JP1/AJS3 - View window (Summary Monitor window)

    • Jobnet Editor window

    • Jobnet Monitor window

  2. In the window you opened in step 1, click the jobnet or job group that manages the unit you want to find.

Click the job group or jobnet in the summary list or unit detailed information list of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Summary Monitor window), or in the tree area if you opened one of the other windows.

The job group or jobnet you clicked is now selected.

  3. Choose Edit and then Search.

The following Search window appears. If you selected more than one unit, or if you did not make a selection, the Search window will not open.

    [Figure]

The full path name of the job group or jobnet you selected in step 2 appears in Search location.

    Cautionary notes

    • The path name displayed in Search location is that of the unit that was selected in the tree area of the window from which you opened the Search window, regardless of what unit you might have selected in the list area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window) or in the map area of the Jobnet Editor window.

You can change the path name displayed in Search location by clicking the ... button, which opens the Search Location dialog box.

    • If you opened the Search window having selected a unit other than a root jobnet in the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Summary Monitor window), the full path name of the upper-level root jobnet appears in Search location. To change the location to search, click the ... button, which opens the Search Location dialog box.

  4. In the search condition setting area, specify the name, type, and other details about the unit you want to find.

  5. Click the Search button.

Units matching the search conditions are listed in the search result list area.

If you want to cancel the search before it ends, click the Cancel button.

  6. Check the units listed in the search result list area.

Using the Operations menu, you can perform operations for the listed units as required.

Supplementary notes
  • You cannot perform operations for any unit displayed in the search result list area until the search is finished or canceled.

  • The available commands in the Operations menu depend on the unit you specified in Search object in the search condition setting area. For details, see 12.10.2 Menu commands.

  • You can change the columns displayed in the search result list area. For details, see 11.10.2 Specifying the columns displayed in the search result list area.
