12.2 Recovery from a failure in an environment that uses an external database

The following figure shows the flow for restoring a JP1/AJS3 system so that system operation can continue even if a failure occurs in the JP1/AJS3 system and that connects to the external database, or in the external database itself.

Obtain setting information in advance in preparation of conducting failure recovery. If the failure occurred in the JP1/AJS3 system that is connected to an external database or in the external database itself, recover each of the environments. After operation recovery work is complete, restart operations.
