10.2.3 Node switching caused by an error in JP1/AJS3 - Web Console

The following figure shows the processing that is performed when node switching occurs in an instance of JP1/AJS3 - Web Console running on a different host from the host of JP1/AJS3 - Manager.

The flow of events in the system processing is as follows:

  1. The system starts the JP1/AJS3 HTTP Server service and JP1/AJS3 Web Application Server service on the Web Console server (secondary node).

  2. Users log in to JP1/AJS3 - Manager again from the clients (such as the Web GUI).

    If a failover occurs, connections with clients, such as the Web GUI, are disconnected. Consequently, if a request is being processed on a client or if operations are being performed by using the Web GUI when the failover occurs, an error occurs on the relevant client. After the failover, log in again and then continue processing on the secondary node.
