This method uses a file to back up and restore units. Use this method when you want to distribute units to other hosts or when you do not need to back up information for each application.

This method uses a JP1/AJS3 backup file to back up and restore units.

You can also execute this operation from a menu in the JP1/AJS3 - View window. For details, see 3.3 Backing up and restoring jobnets by using the ajsbackup and ajsrestore commands or JP1/AJS3 - View. Use this method when you do not want to distribute units to other hosts or when you need to back up information for each application.
