2.2.5 Backing up the JP1/AJS3 - View setup information

The following lists the tasks required to back up the JP1/AJS3 - View setup information.

The following describes how to perform these tasks.

(1) Backing up the JP1/AJS3 - View environment settings files

Back up the JP1/AJS3 - View environment settings files and folders listed in the table below.

You can use any backup method, such as copying the files and folders.

The following table lists the files and folders you need to back up.

Back up this directory, but without the subfolders and files listed below. You do not need to back up this folder if no custom jobs are registered.

The JP1/AJS3 - View custom job registration information folder that is used when the function that allows each JP1 user to use different custom jobs is enabled. For details about the function that allows each JP1 user to use different custom jobs, see 11.2.8 Allowing each JP1 user to use different custom jobs in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide.

(2) Backing up the custom job icons created by users

Back up the custom PC job icons and custom Unix job icons created by users. You can use any backup method, such as copying files. This task is not required if no custom job icons have been created. The following table lists the files you need to back up.
