2.2.2 Backing up the JP1/Base setup information

Backing up the JP1/Base setup information requires backup of the definition files set by the JP1/Base user. For details about how to back up the definition files set by the JP1/Base user, see the JP1/Base User's Guide.

Note that, if common definition information of JP1/AJS3 is to be obtained separately, perform a backup in accordance with the following procedure.

Organization of this subsection

(1) The common definition information of JP1/AJS3 - Manager

To back up the common definition information for JP1/AJS3 - Manager, execute the following commands:

jbsgetcnf [-h logical-host-name] -c JP1AJS2 > backup-file for JP1AJS2
jbsgetcnf [-h logical-host-name] -c JP1NBQAGENT > backup-file for JP1NBQAGENT
jbsgetcnf [-h logical-host-name] -c JP1NBQMANAGER > backup-file for JP1NBQMANAGER
jbsgetcnf [-h logical-host-name] -c JP1NBQCLIENT > backup-file for JP1NBQCLIENT

If environment setting parameters under JP1AJS2COMMON are being added by using the jajs_config command or the jbssetcnf command, perform a backup because there is a definition key. If the queueless job execution environment is being set up, perform a backup because there is a definition key.

If JP1/AJS3 Console functions are being used as compatibility functions for version 10 or earlier, perform a backup because there is a definition key.

For JP1AJS2CONSOLEAGENT, back up only the common definition information of the physical host.

(2) The common definition information of JP1/AJS3 - Agent

To back up the common definition information for JP1/AJS3 - Agent, execute the following commands:
