21.6 Settings for backing up and recovering an embedded database while JP1/AJS3 is running
This section describes how to enable or disable the backup enhancement function. If you enable this function, you can back up an embedded database while JP1/AJS3 is running.

When you perform an advanced setup of an embedded database, you can also enable the backup enhancement function, irrespective of the host type (physical or logical). For details about how to perform an advanced setup of an embedded database, see 23.4 Advanced setup of an embedded database.
