8.2.1 What you can do with the Web GUI

The Web GUI allows users to monitor the progress and execution statuses of jobnets via the Internet. The Web GUI can be used in many ways, such as for monitoring (and operating) jobnets from outside the company, and monitoring JP1/AJS3 applications built into a cloud environment.

The following table describes the operations that can be performed by using the Web GUI.

7		Monitoring the progress of processing^#6	You can check the total number of units that are scheduled for execution and the total number of terminated units in the root jobnet. You can also check the processing progress calculated from these values. In addition, you can check the number of delayed units and abnormally terminated units.
8		Checking the execution schedule	You can check the execution schedule of each unit.
9		Checking the monthly execution schedule^#7	You can check the monthly execution schedule of a unit.
10	Operating units	Manipulating the hold attribute^#1	You can add the hold attribute to units, or remove it from them.
11		Interrupt	You can interrupt execution of a unit.
12		Kill	You can forcibly terminate a unit that is executing.
13		Rerun	You can rerun a unit that has already been run. If the unit to be rerun is a PC job or a Unix job, you can also change the detailed definition of the job.
14		Change job status	You can change the job status.
15		Change plan (change time)^#1	You can temporarily change the scheduled execution start time of a unit.
16		Change plan (execute immediately)^#1	You can temporarily change the execution schedule of a unit registered for execution and immediately execute the unit.
17		Change plan (execution prohibited)^#1	You can temporarily change the execution schedule of a unit registered for execution and prohibit its execution.
18		Change plan (release change)^#1	You can restore the temporarily changed execution schedule of a unit to the status that was in effect before the temporary change.
19		Change delay monitor^#1	You can temporarily change the delay monitoring settings for a unit registered for execution.
20	Operating execution agents	View a list of execution agents and the job execution status of each execution agent	You can view a list of execution agents and the job execution status of each execution agent.^#8
21		View definitions	You can check the definitions of the selected execution agent.
22		Add	You can add an execution agent to the connection-destination JP1/AJS3 - Manager.

#1: You cannot view or re-manipulate temporarily changed information by using the Web GUI. If you need to view or re-manipulate temporarily changed information, use JP1/AJS3 - View.
#2: Manager job groups and manager jobnets are not displayed.
#3: The jobs created directly under a job group are not displayed.
#4: You cannot monitor the units under a remote jobnet or view the schedule and execution result information on those units.
#5: For custom jobs, a common custom job icon is displayed regardless of the type of custom job.
#6: You cannot specify a planning group as a monitoring target. If you want to monitor the jobnets under a planning group, specify those jobnets as monitoring targets.
#7: You cannot display a monthly schedule by selecting a job group or planning group.
#8: To view the statuses of the execution agents, you must enable the job distribution delay reduction function.
#9: You must enable the job distribution delay reduction function.
