JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Overview

8.1 Overview of web interfaces available in JP1/AJS3

JP1/AJS3 users can monitor the execution status and results of jobnets from various locations or environments by using the Internet.

The following two programs can be used on the monitoring terminal (client) to access the Internet:

To monitor jobnets via the Internet by using the above programs, JP1/AJS3 - Web Console (a component of JP1/AJS3 - Manager) is required. The host on which JP1/AJS3 - Web Console is installed is called the Web Console server.

The Web Console server serves as a web server and web application server to control HTTP communication and web applications. In addition, when a client requests unit information, the Web Console server obtains the unit information from JP1/AJS3 - Manager and then sends the information to the client as a response.

The following figure shows an overview of communication via the Web Console server.
