3.2 Basic configuration of the JP1/AJS3 - View main window

To define, execute, and monitor jobnets by using JP1/AJS3 - View, you need to display windows and dialog boxes appropriate for the purpose of operation, from the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window).

The following shows the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window).

The following describes each area of the JP1/AJS3 - View window (Main window).

Function menu area

The function menus allow you to filter the items displayed in the list area, detailed information area, and operation menu according to the desired operation.

For example, if you select Cancel Registration, only the jobnets registered for execution are displayed in the list area so that only cancel registration can be performed. At this time, operation menus not relating to cancel registration are inactive, thus preventing incorrect operation.

Tree area

The tree area displays the job group defined for JP1/AJS3 - Manager in hierarchical format. When you select a unit in the tree area, the units immediately below the selected unit appear in the list area.

List area

The list area displays a list of units (job groups or jobnets) immediately below the job group selected in the tree area.

Detailed information area

The detailed information area displays the details, such as definitions and execution information, about the units selected in the list area. The displayed information varies depending on the selected function menus.

To display details, select a unit in the list area and then click the Show button. If you want to display the information for another unit, select a different unit in the list area and then click the Show button again.
