An attempt to register the security settings information has failed.

When failing from security GUI screen to the security configuration registration will be displayed.

Perform the following procedure:

1. Confirm that the following folder exists:

In Windows: <HiCommand-installation-directory>\Base\conf\sec\resource

In Solaris: /opt/HiCommand/Base/conf/sec/resource

In Linux: <HiCommand-installation-directory>/Base/conf/sec/resource

2. Delete the following folder if it exists:

In Windows: <HiCommand-installation-directory>\Base\conf\sec\resource\security.conf

In Solaris: /opt/HiCommand/Base/conf/sec/resource/security.conf

In Linux: <HiCommand-installation-directory>/Base/conf/sec/resource/security.conf

3. Make sure that you have access permissions for the following file:

In Windows: <HiCommand-installation-directory>\Base\conf\sec\resource\security.conf

In Solaris: /opt/HiCommand/Base/conf/sec/resource/security.conf

In Linux: <HiCommand-installation-directory>/Base/conf/sec/resource/security.conf

4. If the problem cannot be resolved, detailed investigation is required to determine the cause and resolve the problem. Contact the customer support, who may ask you to collect troubleshooting information.
