1.1 Message output format

Messages output by JP1/AO and Common Component consist of a message ID, a message type, and message text.

Messages are output in the following format:

The following describes the parts that make up a message:

KAPM, KNAE

KAPM: Messages output by Common Component

KNAE: Messages output by JP1/AO

nnnnn

Provides a serialized identification number for the message.

-Z

Indicates the message type.

E: Indicates an error message. Processing is suspended.

W: Indicates a warning message. The message is output, and then processing continues.

I: Indicates an information message. These messages report information to the user.

Q: Indicates an information message. These messages ask the user to choose an action.
