Managing users

You can register, edit, and lock the user accounts used to log in to JP1/AO. You can also control operation targets that users can access according to the permissions.

Sharing property values among services (Service Share Properties)

If you set Service Share Properties, the values for the properties can be shared among services.

For example, when you use a service template to manage a common server, if you define the host name, user ID, and password for that server at the connection destination as Service Share Properties, you can save the time needed to enter such server information each time a service is run.

Service Share Properties are classified into two types: The Service Share Properties that are different for each service template, and the shared built-in service properties that are predefined in JP1/AO.

Linking with other products

JP1/AO provides functions for improving the work efficiency of administrators, including email notifications when errors occur, and a direct access URL that enables target windows to be displayed directly.

  • Taking advantage of existing JP1 resource groups - linking with authentication function of JP1/Base

  • Using Active Directory to manage users and groups - linking with Active Directory

  • System monitoring linked with JP1/IM - linking with event monitoring function of JP1/IM

  • Streamlined error detection - email notification

  • Improving work efficiency by directly accessing a target window (such as a service execution window, a service setup window, and a task details window) - direct-access URL

  • Calling JP1/AO functions from external programs - API

  • Single sign-on to a JP1/IM - NP window - Linking with JP1/IM - NP job contents
