3.5.5 Importing the service template into the production environment
After exporting a service template from the development environment, import the service template into the production environment.
Before you begin
Permissions and roles required for this operation:
- A user who has the Admin or Develop role
Procedure
In the development environment, in the JP1/AO main window, click the Service Template tab.
In the Service Templates area, import the service template into the production environment.
In the Service Templates area, click More Actions > Export.

In the confirmation dialog box, click the OK button to save the service template to a file.
In the production environment, in the JP1/AO main window, click the Service Template tab.
In the Service Templates area, click the Import button.

Select the service template file (*.st), and then click the OK button.
Result
The service template is imported.

To import two or more service template files (.st files), create a .ZIP file containing the service template files, and then import the ZIP file by using the Service Template window or by executing the importservicetemplate command.
