3.4.2 Using the Service Builder window to start editing a service template
Use Service Builder to develop service templates. This allows you to create a new service template out of an existing service template and make edits.
Before you begin
Permissions and roles required for this operation:
- A user who has the Admin or Develop role
Procedure
In the main window, select the Service Templates tab.
Select the service template to be used to create your new template, and then click the Copy button.
In this example, select the Execute Remote Command service template, and then click the Copy button.
Enter information about the service template.
Click the Save button.

Click the OK button.
Result
The
Service Builderwindow appears. You can edit the copied service template in this window.
