9.2.1 Opening the Define New Job dialog box
The Define New Job dialog box is used to specify a job type.
How to open the Define New Job dialog box differs depending on which of the following windows of Remote Install Manager is used to create the job:

(1) The Job Definition window
Select File, and then Define New Job.
(2) The Destination window or System Configuration window
Select Execute, and then Execute Job, or click the Create Job button.
(3) The Package window
In the Package window, only the following types of jobs can be created by selecting Execute, and then Execute Job (or clicking the Create Job button):

Install package jobs

Transfer package to relay computer jobs

Send package, allow client users to choose jobs
At this point, if you select a host or package that a job execution is targeting, that information will be set up in the Create Job dialog box, which is displayed later.
If you want to create an Install package, Transfer package to relay computer, or Send package, allow client users to choose job, you can also open the Define New Job dialog box by a drag and drop operation. In addition, in this case, the selected host or package information will be set up in the Create Job dialog box, which is displayed later. The following shows the steps using a drag and drop operation:

Drag a package (or cabinet) icon from the Package window.
If you select a cabinet icon, all packages in the cabinet will be targeted.

Drop it to the host icon in the Destination window or the System Configuration window.
The Define New Job dialog box opens.
