1.4.2 Enabling administrative shares

To use service templates that use the general command plug-in, file transmission plug-in, or content plug-in at a connection destination that runs on Windows, you must enable administrative shares.

Caution

JP1/AO does not support the system configuration in which multiple JP1/AO servers connect to a single connection destination that runs on Windows.

Procedure

  1. To enable administrative shares, configure registry settings as shown in the following table, and then restart the OS on the connection destination.

    Tip

    You can also use the following command to specify administrative share settings:
