3.5.7 Using a redundant NIC configuration
To use APM in an environment with a redundant NIC configuration, you need to specify in the event source definition file an IP address that allows communication even when a NIC failover occurs. For details, see 6.4.4 Event source definition file (apmaddr.conf).
For the IP address of an agent monitored by SSO's process monitoring, specify an IP address that allows communication even when a NIC failover occurs. Do not specify as a monitored IP address an IP address that loses communication when a NIC failover occurs.
