hntr2util
Function
The hntr2util command changes the size, number of files, and output destination of the integrated trace log that is output by the Hitachi Network Objectplaza Trace Library (HNTRLib2). The following dialog box appears when you execute this command, enabling you to change integrated trace log settings as necessary:
Settings
The following describes the items that can be set in this dialog box.
- Output (directory and prefix):

Specifies the log file output destination and the prefix for the log file name. The default setting is as follows:
system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\HNTRLib2\spool\hntr2[n].log
- Number of Files:

Specifies the number of log files. As many files as are specified here are created at the output destination specified in Output. The default setting is 4.
- File Size (KB):

Specifies the size of a log file. The default setting is 256 kilobytes.
- Buffer (KB): and Watch Dog (sec):

Do not change these settings.
- Kill button:
-
Terminates the active monitor processing. This button can terminate the integrated trace service (service name: Hitachi Network Objectplaza Trace Monitor 2); however, in normal circumstances we recommend that you do not use this button. Instead, use the Services dialog box on the Windows Control Panel.
