Field values

Data source

Each field contains a value obtained from a Performance Management product or monitored program, or a value derived by applying a formula. In the tables, the Data source column indicates the source of the value or the formula used to produce the value.

For PFM - Agent for Service Response, the value of each field is the result of measurement by the IE Probe Daemon and the Probe Daemon.

Delta

In contrast to data collected as a cumulative value, the so-called delta is data that indicates the change in values. For example, if the performance data value obtained during the first collection is 3 and the performance data value obtained during the second collection is 4, then the cumulative value is 7, and the change in the values is 1. In the tables, the Delta column indicates whether or not a field's value is the delta value.

The following table explains the delta characteristics of performance data collected by PFM - Agent for Service Response:
