JP1 Version 11 JP1/Performance Management - Agent Option for Service Response Description, User's Guide and Reference

8.5 Web transaction files

A Web transaction file is used to define a series of Web access information items. Multiple Web transactions can be defined in a single Web transaction file. You use a program such as a text editor to create a Web transaction file in the format shown below. You give it a name of your choosing (with the extension .xml), and you store it under installation-folder\agtv\probe\webtrans.

To apply the definitions specified in a Web transaction file, you must restart PFM - Agent for Service Response.

You can also use Web Recorder to create Web transaction files. For details about how to use Web Recorder to create a Web transaction file, see 4.4.1 Defining Web transactions (creating Web transaction files).
