8.2.2 Definition

This subsection describes the definitions. You can omit any unneeded optional key name (or optional section).

General section:

Specifies the maximum number of measurement conditions for the probe and IE probe of PFM - Agent for Service Response and the maximum size of a report file.

If you manually start and stop the IE probe from the Windows start menu, specify N. If you operate PFM - Agent for Service Response in a cluster system, specify Y. If you do not use IE scenarios in a cluster environment, specify N.
disable_ssl_protocol ((NONE, TLSV11, or TLSV12))<<NONE>>	--	Specifies which of the SSL protocols used for communication between a probe and Web server will be disabled for monitoring of HTTPS (including monitoring of Web transactions that use HTTPS). PFM - Agent for Service Response supports the following SSL protocols: TLSv1 TLSv1.1 TLSv1.2 If you monitor a Web server that does not support TLSv1.1, TLSv1.2 or later, the Result Code (RESULT_CODE) field of the record collected by monitoring might be set to 3, causing a measurement error. You might be able to prevent this error by specifying TLSV11 or TLSV12 for this option. If you want to use all protocols, specify NONE. If you want to disable a specific protocol, specify either of the following value: TLSV11: Disables TLSv1.1 or later. TLSV12: Disables TLSv1.2 or later.
html_script_skip_flag ((Y or N))<<N>>	--	Specifies whether the contents of script tags will be ignored when embedded resources are searched during monitoring of HTTP, HTTPS, or Web transactions. Specify Y to ignore the contents of script tags during a search. Specify No to search for the contents of script tags. Specifying Y might be able to prevent the KAVK08261-E message from being output to a log during HTTP or HTTPS measurement or the KAVK08261-E and KAVK08311-W messages from being output to a log during Web transaction measurement.
enable_low_level_ssl_protocol ((SSL))	--	Specifies which of the SSL protocols used for communication between a probe and a Web server will be lower protocols for monitoring of HTTPS(including monitoring of Web transactions that use HTTPS). PFM - Agent for Service Response supports the following SSL protocols: TLSv1 TLSv1.1 TLSv1.2 SSLv2.0 and SSLv3.0 become effective in addition to the protocol mentioned above when you specify "SSL" to this key. But, it is not recommended that you validate SSLv2.0 and SSLv3.0,which are lower protocols.

System Log section:

Specifies a setting related to log output.

If you specify Y in cluster_flag, you must specify this item. If you specify N in cluster_flag, this item is ignored, if specified. Do not enclose the value in double quotation marks (") even when the specified path contains a space.

WEBTRANS Probe section:

Specifies settings related to Web transaction measurement. These settings take effect when you use the probe.

skip_emb_rsc_error ((Y or N))<<Y>>	--	Specifies whether or not measurement is to continue when acquisition of an embedded resource results in an error during Web transaction measurement. To continue measurement, specify Y; otherwise, specify N.
post_redirect_method ((GET or POST))<<GET>>	--	Specifies the method to be used for redirecting a POST request during Web transaction measurement. To use a GET method, specify GET; to use a POST method, specify POST. Normally, do not change this value.

FTP Probe section:

Specifies a setting related to FTP measurement.

To continue measurement, specify Y; otherwise, specify N. When FTP monitoring is performed in an environment where a Windows firewall is used, specify Y in this item.

IE Probe section:

Specifies a setting related to IE Probe measurement. These settings take effect when you use the probe.

Specify Y to check the contents of the HTML files when detecting problems during measurements. The output files when replaying an IE scenario are stored in a folder. The character code of the output file is UTF-8. max_number_of_html_log ((1 to 500))<<20>>	--	Specifies the maximum case number of storing the HTML files acquired while measuring IE scenarios. Counts all the HTML files acquired when measuring an IE scenario as 1 case. The IE probe stores the HTML files the max_number_of_html_log times for each measurement condition. If the store case number exceeds the max_number_of_html_log, the files of the oldest case are deleted. If you specify N as the value of html_log_flag, the value you specified is ignored.
ie_probe_browser_mode ((IE7, IE8, IE9, IE10 or IE11))#3	--	Specifies the Internet Explorer version for using the IE probe. Before specifying this item, check the Internet Explorer version supported by the monitoring target and the version of Internet Explorer installed in an environment in which PFM - Agent for Service Response is installed. Internet Explorer 7 is the default version. IE7 Specify this when the monitoring target supports Internet Explorer 7. IE8 Specify this when the monitoring target supports Internet Explorer 8. IE9 Specify this when the monitoring target supports Internet Explorer 9. You can specify this option when Internet Explorer 9 or a later version is installed in an environment in which PFM - Agent for Service Response is installed. IE10 Specify this when the monitoring target supports Internet Explorer 10. You can specify this option when Internet Explorer 10 or a later version is installed in an environment in which PFM - Agent for Service Response is installed. IE11 Specify this when the monitoring target supports Internet Explorer 11. You can specify this option when Internet Explorer 11 or a later version is installed in an environment in which PFM - Agent for Service Response is installed. You must specify the Internet Explorer version that was specified when IE scenarios were created. This value must also be specified for ie_rec_browser_mode in the IE Recorder action condition definition file. If a value is not specified or if an invalid value is specified, the default version (Internet Explorer 7) is used.

The measurement start time for IE scenario is displayed in the following format: YYYYMMDD_hhmmss format (YYYY:Year, MM:Month, DD:Day, hh:Hour, mm:Minute, ss:second).
