4.5.1 Performing pre-measurement check on target Web pages

PFM - Agent for Service Response does not support measurements of Web pages with script errors. You may be able to check to see if target Web pages contain script errors by changing the settings of Internet Explorer.

The following shows the procedure to use Internet Explorer on the PFM - Agent for Service Response host to perform pre-measurement check on target Web pages:

1. In Internet Explorer, temporarily change the Internet Options settings as follows:

   Advanced tab

   • Select Display a notification about every script error.

   • Clear Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer).

   Note:

   You may see different setting options depending on the version of your Internet Explorer.

2. Use Internet Explorer to access the target Web page and check that no script error occurs.

   If a script error occurs, the software cannot measure the target Web page.

3. Change the settings on the Advanced tab of Internet Options back to the state they were in step 1, and then click the OK button.
