3.5.1 Backup
When you back up the configuration files, you back up those files in any measure (such as copying the files). To copy files manually, make sure that all services of PFM - Agent for Service Response have stopped. To use a backup script, see the chapter that describes backup and restoration in the JP1/Performance Management User's Guide.
Note:
When you back up the configuration files, record the product version number of PFM - Agent for Service Response. For details about the product version number, see the Release Notes.
While you are backing up the files, do not change a file being backed up. If you make any changes, the files will not be backed up correctly.
The files to be backed up are changed when you perform one of the following operations:

Change a file by using a utility such as a text editor.

Register, delete or, change measurement conditions by using Web Console

Register measurement conditions or edit a measurement condition registration file by using the IE Recorder

Change an IE scenario file or Web transaction file by using the IE Recorder or Web Recorder
-
Change a password file by using the esppasswd command
