When you perform a new or an upgrade installation of PFM - Manager 10-00 or later, the following message texts might be output as agent events depending on the agent's alarm check status:

When you perform an upgrade installation of Performance Management from version 09-00 or earlier to 10-00 or later, the Log property of each field might be set to Yes or No in PFM - Agent or PFM - RM. If the existing Log property setting is set to a different value, the KAVE00352-W message will be output to the common message log and the setting will be changed. For details about the records whose Log property is affected, see each PFM - Agent or PFM - RM manual.

When you perform a new installation of PFM - Base or PFM - Manager 10-00 or later or an upgrade installation from 09-00 or earlier to 10-00 or later, the function for outputting measurement values when alarms recover to the normal status is disabled. When you perform an upgrade installation from 10-00 or later, the function for outputting measurement values when alarms recover to the normal status inherits the previous settings. If you wish to enable the function for outputting measurement values when alarms recover to the normal status, see 4.4.11 Configuring the function for outputting measurement values when alarms recover to the normal status (in Windows) or 5.4.10 Configuring the function for outputting measurement values when alarms recover to the normal status (in UNIX).

When you perform a new installation of PFM - Web Console 10-00 or later, the report series paging function is enabled by default. If you perform an upgrade installation from 10-00 or later, the report series paging function inherits the previous settings. When you perform an upgrade installation from 09-00 or earlier to 10-00 or later, the report series paging function is disabled. If you wish to enable the report series paging function, see the section that describes the data collection and display settings in the initialization file (config.xml) in the appendix of the manual JP1/Performance Management Reference.

When you perform a new installation of PFM - Base or PFM - Manager version 09-00 or later, the product name display function is enabled by default. If you upgrade from 09-00 or later, the product name display function inherits the existing settings. If you upgrade from 08-11 or earlier to 09-00 or later, the product name display function is disabled. To enable the product name display function, see 4.4.10 Configuring the product name display function (in Windows) or 5.4.9 Configuring the product name display function (in UNIX).

PFM - Web Console 09-00 or later does not support Mozilla as the monitoring console Web browser. If the monitoring console runs on UNIX, use Firefox as the Web browser. For details, see the Release Notes.
