4.2.2 Uninstallation procedures

Important

If the OS's User Account Control (UAC) feature is enabled, the user account control dialog box might appear during uninstallation. If this dialog box appears, click the Continue button to continue with uninstallation. Clicking the Cancel button cancels uninstallation.

To perform uninstallation:

  1. Log on with Administrators permissions to the host from which you intend to uninstall the Performance Management program.

  2. Stop the Performance Management programs and services on the local host.

Display the service information and make sure the services are not running. Stop all Performance Management programs and services that are running on the local host. All services on the physical host and logical host must be stopped.

For details about how to stop services and displaying service information, see the chapter that describes starting and stopping Performance Management in the JP1/Performance Management User's Guide.

  3. Select a Performance Management program you wish to uninstall.

In Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features to select a Performance Management program that you wish to uninstall.

To delete PFM - Manager or PFM - Base, you must uninstall all Performance Management programs except PFM - Web Console beforehand.

  4. Select Uninstall and click the OK button.

    The selected program is uninstalled.
