For details about this window, see 2.23 Display Message Change Definition Settings window (Add Display Message Change Definition Settings window). When you click the OK button in the Display Message Change Definition Settings window, the display message change definition is added to the end of the Display message change definitions list. The Add button becomes unavailable when the maximum number of definitions is reached.

Edit

Click this button to edit a display message change definition selected in the Display message change definitions list. When you click this button, the Display Message Change Definition Settings window appears with the details of the selected definition displayed. For details about this window, see 2.23 Display Message Change Definition Settings window (Add Display Message Change Definition Settings window). The changes take effect when you click the OK button in the Display Message Change Definition Settings window. This button becomes available when a display message change definition is selected in the Display message change definitions list.

Copy

Click this button when you want to create a copy of the display message change definition selected in the Display message change definitions list. When you click this button, a copy of the selected definition is added to the end of the list. The name of the new definition is the original name prefixed with the string Copy. For example, if you copy a definition named ABC, the copy is named Copy ABC. If Copy ABC already exists, a number (starting from 2) is added after Copy. This number is incremented (2, 3, 4, and so on) to ensure that definition names are not repeated. The Copy button is available when a display message change definition is selected in the Display message change definitions list, unless no more display message change definitions can be added. The Copy button becomes unavailable when the maximum number of definitions is reached. The button also becomes unavailable when no display message change definition is selected or when multiple definitions are selected.

Delete

Click this button to delete the display message change definitions selected in the Display message change definitions list. You can delete multiple definitions in one operation. When you click this button, the message KAVB0253-Q appears in a dialog box. When you click the Yes button in this dialog box, the selected definitions are deleted. If no display message change definitions are displayed in the list, the Delete button is unavailable. The Delete button is available when at least one definition is selected.

Change Type

Click this button to change the type of the additional display message change definitions selected in the Display message change definitions list. You can change the type of multiple additional display message change definitions in one operation. When you click the Change Type button, the message KAVB1148-Q appears in a dialog box. Click the Yes button in this dialog box to change the selected definitions from additional display message change definitions to display message change definitions. The contents of the Apply, Display message change definition name, and Comment columns do not change. You cannot change a display message change definition to an additional display message change definition. The Change Type button becomes unavailable if no additional display message change definitions are in the Display message change definitions list. The button becomes available when at least one additional display message change definition is selected. If you inadvertently change a definition from an additional display message change definition to a display message change definition, you can undo the change by clicking the Close button in the Display Message Change Definitions window instead of the Apply button.
