The following figure shows an example of the Display page of the System Environment Settings window.

The following describes the items displayed on the Display page of the System Environment Settings window.

Range of events to be collected at login

Set whether to use the event collection range setting function in the Event Monitoring and Severe Events pages.

Enable the Monitor Events page check box

Select the Enable the Monitor Events page check box to use the event collection range setting function in the Event Monitoring page. The check box is cleared by default.

When you select this check box, the day(s) and hours radio buttons become available. The day(s) radio button is selected by default.

Enable the Severe Events page check box

Select the Enable the Severe Events page check box to use the event collection range setting function in the Severe Events page. The check box is cleared by default.

When you select this check box, the day(s) and hours radio buttons and the Enable check box for Do not collect Processed events become available. The day(s) radio button is selected by default. The Enable check box for Do not collect Processed events is selected by default.

day(s) radio button

When you select this radio button, the day(s) text box and Base time text box become available.

  • day(s) text box

    Specify how many days of events to collect at login. You can specify a value from 1 to 31. The default is 1.

  • Base time text box

    Specify the start time of the days specified in the day(s) text box. You can specify a value from 0:00 to 23:59. The default is 9:00.

hours radio button

When you select this radio button, the hours text box becomes available.

  • hours text box

    Specify how many hours of events to collect at login. You can specify a value from 1 to 744. The default is 1.

Do not collect Processed events

To prevent the Severe Events page from acquiring processed events at login, select the Enable check box in this area.
