13.18.7 JOB_ATTRIBUTE (setting job attributes)

In the JOB_ATTRIBUTE tag, specify the job attributes of a specified job. This tag is used for the dcmcoll, dcminst, dcmjbrm, dcmjexe, dcmrmgen, dcmrtry, dcmstat, dcmstsw, and dcmsusp commands.

The following table shows the parameters that can be specified, and their corresponding command arguments:

(2) Description

job_generator=job-name

Specify the name of a job defined in the managing server. When no value is specified, a string consisting of processing-key and execution-date-and-time (processing-key is the one specified in the dcmcoll, dcminst, or dcmsusp command) is assumed as the job name.

For the dcmjexe command, always specify this parameter.
jobno=job-number

Specify the job ID automatically assigned to the job by the managing server.
job_folder=path-name-of-job-storage-folder

Specify the path name of a folder in the managing server. The folder name must begin with the character \., which indicates that the folder is a root folder. If the path name of the folder has a hierarchical structure, separate the hierarchical levels by \. You can specify a path name of a maximum of four hierarchical levels.

The following shows an example of specifying a folder name:

job_folder=\folder1\folder2\folder3\folder
```
When this parameter is omitted, the command searches job names in the root folder and subordinate folders in this order to find the specified job name, and then assumes the job found first as the processing target. If different folders contain a job of the same name, specify the path name of the folder that contains the target job.

Note that, when using multiple parameter files for the dcmcoll or dcminst command, specify this parameter so that the same folder name is not included in different parameter files. For example, avoid specifying this parameter as shown below.

unsuspended=whether-to-distribute-during-suspension

Write Y or N to specify whether to distribute the package even while file transfer is suspended.

Y

Distributes the package even while file transfer is suspended.

N

Suspends distribution while file transfer is suspended.

When no value is specified in this parameter, N is set automatically.

Note that you can specify this parameter only for the dcminst command. Specifying this command in a parameter list for other than the dcminst command causes an error.
