11.5 Managing backup files

If remote installation using the backup/restore function fails, restoration (file recovery) using backup files is usually executed automatically. In some cases, however, restoration might fail, or not be executed.

You can handle stored backup files with commands. Check the backup files, and then delete files (or retry restoration) as needed.

The following table lists the commands that are used to manage stored backup files:

dmpbklst	Outputs a list of backup files.
dmpbkdel	Deletes backup files.
dmprcvry	Retries restoration using stored backup files.
