6.6.1 Displaying deletion history

The deletion history of system configuration information is displayed in the Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box. To display this dialog box, from the File menu, select Deletion History of System Configuration Information. You can also display the dialog box from any Remote Installation Manager window.

In addition to Destination, Subkey, and Route, the Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box displays the following information for each deleted host:

Deletion cause

This column shows what caused the host to be deleted from the system configuration information.

Deletion cause

Meaning

Delete by uninstallation result

  • Uninstallation was reported by a managed computer or relay system.

  • The host was deleted by a Get system configuration information job.

Delete by administrator

  • The managed computer or relay system was deleted manually from the System Configuration window.

  • The managed computer was deleted by automatic or manual maintenance of system configuration information.

Deletion time

The date and time when the host was deleted from the system configuration information.

You can also display the following items in the Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box:

Host ID, MAC address, Comment, Creation date/time, Update date/time

To add these items, from the right-click menu, select Select Information, and then select the items you want to display.

You can resize the Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box by dragging its borders. You can also sort the table in ascending or descending order of a particular column by clicking the column header.
