You can use the procedure below to set the conditions for finding duplicate hosts, and have the system automatically delete duplicate computers with the older update time.

  2. Select the Delete automatically check box, and set the relevant items.

The system will find hosts with different host IDs for which the selected conditions match. If you select multiple conditions, they are joined by AND operators.

    Match MAC address

Searches for hosts that have the same MAC address in the system configuration information.

    Match IP address

Searches for hosts that have the same IP address in the system configuration information.

    Match host name

Searches for hosts that have the same host name in the system configuration information.

    Match case

Select this check box to distinguish between upper and lower case letters when searching for host names.

    Schedule

Specify the time at which to start the automatic deletion of system configuration information, and the processing time. The deletion process will be suspended when the specified processing time has elapsed, even if there are computers yet to be deleted. If you do not want deletion to be suspended, specify 0 as the processing time. The remaining computers will be deleted when the next start time arrives.

  3. After setting the conditions, click OK.

Regardless of whether it is currently earlier or later than the specified time, automatic deletion does not take place until the specified time on the following day.
