1.3.3 Detailed job settings
You can create jobs in the Create Job dialog box of Remote Installation Manager.
The Create Job dialog box displays the appropriate pages for the specified job type. On these pages, you can specify the job name, destination, execution conditions, and other detailed settings. For details about the pages displayed in the Create Job dialog box, see 9.2.2 Pages displayed in the Create Job dialog box.
The following table lists the pages displayed in the Create Job dialog box, and describes the information you can set on each page.

The attributes of packages to be installed remotely, the installation environment, and other options. |
Job Distribution Attributes page |
Information required for multicast distribution or split distribution of a package. These options are useful when distributing large packages. Note that you can only specify multicast distribution for Install package jobs. |
Collect File page |
Files to be collected remotely. |
Schedule page |
The registration date and time, execution date and time, and execution time limit of the job. |
Client Control page |
If the destination computer of a job is turned off, an option on this page allow you to turn on the computer remotely when the job is executed. You can also configure the computer to shut down after the job has been executed. |
